SoMa Lunch Spots: Farmer Brown’s Little Skillet

I spend an amazing amount of time and money exploring lunch spots in the South of Market (SoMa) neighborhood and since my blog is in part about food and San Francisco, I figure I should start actually posting some of them. And luckily I have awesome coworkers who are often down for new lunch spots.

This week: Farmer Brown’s Little Skillet (website)

Description in five words or less: Chicken and waffles. Greasy. Delicious.

Location: 360 Ritch Street, SF, CA

LittleSkillet

We headed down there at lunchtime to this cute, brick alley to grab a team lunch. Chicken and waffles for almost everyone, veggie grits for the two veg-heads!

They’re on 7×7 list of things to eat in SF before you die which means it’s legit.

Girl raved about the veggie grits. Pretty good. I’m getting the veggie po’ boy next time.

Chicken and waffles are a winner.

I really just go for the waffles and the syrup.

Next time I’m getting dessert.

Great place and super fun. Not a sit-down place, just a walk up window. Take food back to South park (and hang out with me!)

Happy Friday everyone!

I’ve heard a lot about this place, and since I’ve been craving waffles for like 2 months now (and don’t have a waffle iron anymore), I think I finally need to try it!

    4. I used to work in the building across the alley from that place. They have amazing lattes and you HAVE to try their red velvet cupcakes :)

    5. Mmm!! I love Farmer Brown’s! Evan and I went there a few weeks ago when we were in the city. I love that it’s tucked away in a side street/alley.

      LOVED seeing you (briefly) yesterday!!
