Question of the day: What is this the name of this animal?
Extra credit question: What was it doing flying (literally) around my house, terrorizing my cat and dog and then taking up semi-permanent residence in my bathroom?
These are the questions that need answers.
No internet since Thursday morning (yes, it is Monday) so hopefully I can get those other World Cup posts up this week… if Simon doesn´t come back again. Yes, this guy´s name is Simon. For now.
That is all.

nope not a wombat! LOL
hey but wombats are TOTALLY cute too, just like this fellow <3
Believe me darling, I would be psyched if it was a wombat
Is that a flying squirrel? Or a lemur? He is kind of cute…
Court, looks like you’ve got a spotted genet coming to visit! At least, that’s the closest thing I could find after searching for “catlike animals of mozambique” on Google!
DING DING DING WE HAVE A WINNER!!!! I cannot believe you solved the puzzle! Apparently they can actually be domesticated as pets and are rising in popularity…
You can’t believe I was able to find something on the internet? And here I thought you knew me better… =)
I was actually thinking about if it could be domesticated – seems like a cool animal. Want to bring me one when you come back?
Oh my goodness! I have no idea what animal that is…but I gotta say, he’s kind of cute!
A lemur? It’s adorable whatever it is!
Yikes!! He’s super cute, even though he’s a pesky little fellow! And I would’ve guessed a lemur or some sort of African flying squirrel…but my knowledge of African species is pretty awful.
I was so proud to find out that it was a large spotted Genet (http://itech.pjc.edu/sctag/LS_GENET/Index.htm). Then I realized one of your other friends already discovered the mystery! I hope he/she doesn’t eat Simba! I feel like you’ve seen more Moz wildlife than I have at this point!
